For sure, as you are thinking, I want to become a Network expert (maybe like you want), and to do this I’ll start CCIE Journey and track my evolution here on medium. But before we talk about tech topics I will share my profile with you:

My name is Rafael, I’m Brazilian and I’m 24 years old. I have 3+ years of experience as a Network Admin and I have certifications like Cisco CCNA, Cisco CCNA CyberOPs, Cisco CCNP EN, Linux Essentials, and Palo Alto PCNSA. Feel free to contact me on Linkedin.

Another point, In my free time a like to visit museums and skating as you can see :)

So, about CCIE Lab and Exam blueprint. The first time I open cisco.com, watch some videos on Youtube and search on the web for what resources I will use during the preparation. Opposite CCNA Track, like for CCNP and now for CCIE, I will use a lot of books and video resources (each one based on exam topics).

Here is a great explanation about CCIE EI BluePrint v1.0

CCIE EI Blueprint — Available on cisco.com

There is a learning Matrix shared by Cisco that maps each exam topic with resources (books and training). I really will use it.

This week I’m focusing on Switched Campus which includes techs likes Ethechannel, CDincludes 802.1Q, STP, and so on. Complete the list below:

You can see these titles on my Safari books playlist here. Some of these techs I’m using daily in my job roles maybe is not necessary to spend any time here.

To end, Gustavo Kalau’s youtube channel to stay motivated.

What is next?
